Kesar Elaichi Chai (Tea)

Don't be shock with title. Its true...Chai is a sweet, spiced and traditional drink of India made with milk, cardamom and other spices. Today you are going to learn  KESAR ELAICHI CHAI without using tea powder and milk with your Archana.....Hope you all enjoy this CHAI....


1 cup water
2 tsps sugar
pinch of cardamom powder
1 tsp lemon juice
6-7 strands of saffron


1: Add the saffron strands in 1 tbsp of warm water and rub with your fingers to extract the orangish/yellow colour and saffron flavour. The more you rub, the more colour you'll get. Keep this aside.

2: Boil water by adding sugar and and cardamom powder for 2-3 minutes.

3: Stain the water and add lemon juice, saffron water and serve hot.

Its really very yummy......Try once....!
