Mango


Mango is widely known as the "King of fruit". Mangoes are seasonal fruit and are mainly available during hot summer season. It is rich in amino acids, vitamin C and E, flavonoids, niacin, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, beta carotene. A pregnant woman should eat atleast 1 mango a day- the calcium and magnesium of the mango relaxes the muscles, relieves stress and prevents abortion.The Vitamin E which is abundantly present in mangoes helps to regulate sex harmones and boosts sex drive. Mangoes helps in digestion, lowers cholesterol, improves concentration and memory power, prevents cancer and heart diseases, promotes good eyesight, makes the complexion fair and the skin soft and shining, helps in diabetes, avoid heat stroke, and beneficial to gain weight.
